Nancy has been in the insurance industry for over 33 years. She built Premier Benefit Advisors from the ground up over 7 years ago after being at a big agency. Her core values behind the business are service and education. Her clients come to her with anything and everything, and if there’s something she can do to help, she will. Nancy grew up in the small Dutch town of Orange City, IA, and moved to Sioux Falls, SD a few years after marrying Mark VandenBerge. She didn’t necessarily imagine herself working in insurance, but the opportunity presented itself and she took it. Being able to help employers and their employees in their times of need is what has kept her in the industry so long. With 33 years of experience comes a TON of knowledge. If Nancy doesn’t know, there’s a good chance not many others do. When she’s not at work, Nancy loves going on walks, playing with her fur grandbabies (no human ones yet!), and spending time with her family.

Mataya was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD before venturing off to college in Tucson, AZ. After getting her Marketing degree from the University of Arizona, she worked in the advertising industry at iHeartMedia for 3 years. While Tucson treated her very well (it’s where she met her husband, Cody), her hometown and family called her back to Sioux Falls. Mataya loves getting to know the employers she works with and their employees so she can help them navigate the confusing world of employee benefits. She’s passionate about getting creative to find the right solutions that make sense for even the most unique groups. Outside of the office, you’ll see her struggling through Hot Yoga classes at AMT (seriously though, it’s super hard) and snuggling with her cat, Camry.

She may be new to the insurance game, but she knows how to send a fantastic email. She has a varied background including customer service, administration, and finance with education in healthcare administration, education, and foreign language. Hillary’s range of experience makes her a great utility player on the PBA team, and she looks forward to helping clients with their insurance needs. Outside of work, Hillary is a mother of five: three boys and two dogs. Her hobbies include landscape gardening, hiking, and yoga. She always loves a fun fact or dad-joke, and of course trying new activities. Come by and say hi!
